What's Next?

This past week Strange Recipe launched its first demo (and had two updates to that demo). The reception has been very positive and we'd like to thank you for the support! But now that a demo has been launched we'd like to fill you in on plans for the full version of the game coming this Fall.

Kitchens

The full version of the game will feature five kitchens (the one from the demo and four additional ones). Each kitchen will have three-to-five additional ingredients and its own unique appliance. For example - the second level is a coffee shop/diner and the unique appliance will be an coffee machine that dispenses coffee without the need of making it yourself. These additional ingredients and appliances will combine with each other and existing ingredients to bring dozens of new recipes at each stage you unlock. By the time you reach the final stage there will be hundreds of possible foods and drinks for hungry customers to order from. Speaking of unlocking, the game will track your lifetime earnings from Dinner Rush mode and unlock new stages when you reach specific sales milestones.

Assistants

So far we've really only shown off Frankie as far as characters in the game are concerned but be assured that more are coming! Five additional assistants are unlockable by filling out percentages of the full recipe book. For some of these characters that means opening up additional restaurants to fill enough of the recipe book to unlock them. Each character will also have an extra outfit to acquire. 

Charlie Accessories

And the last thing left for you to unlock is accessories for Charlie your friendly dragon companion. These will range from things like hats to cat ears and many things in between. Gain access to these by completing unique challenges in each kitchen.

Strange Recipe will be arriving in October and after that we'll be working on a port for mobile devices and additional content.
